ISS7 - First Call for Papers

The 7th International Symposium on Sturgeons (ISS7) meeting will take place in Nanaimo, Canada on July 21-25, 2013. Titled "Sturgeon, Science and Society - at the Crossroads: Meeting the Challenges of the 21st Century" this is the premier conference on sturgeons held every 4 years by the World Sturgeon Conservation Society. Over 600 delegates and 70 trade show companies from all over the world are expected.

ISS7 provides an opportunity to build on the advances in knowledge and experience gained since ISS6 in Wuhan, China. We are inviting delegates from around the globe to advance our collective knowledge and to make new network connections to benefit, preserve and ensure the future of sturgeons globally.

We anticipate over 160 oral scientific papers divided into approximately 40 sessions under seven major symposium themes presented in four concurrent sessions. This is your chance to participate on this global stage.

Abstract submission guidelines can be found on the ISS7 web-site under Call for Papers.

Online registration is now open. We look forward to seeing you in Nanaimo this summer.
