In period 17-24 September 2018 at Sf. Gheorghe, Romania was held the First Edition of the International Workshop ”Danube Sturgeon, where to go?”. It was a very productive week, spent among the sturgeon specialists, a week in which we made steps in the right direction for Danube Sturgeons conservation. The main conclusion of this workshop was that the clear measures are needed to protect and save these species and also a "live gene bank" for the conservation of the genetic diversity of the Danube Sturgeons is urgently needed!
