A new LIFE Project dedicated to the restoration on sterlet populations in the Upper Danube has been approved and the first version of the homepage for the LIFE- Sterlet project is finished and online. A fisherman of wels catfish caught a big sturgeon in the Po, an Acipenser naccarii of about 2 m. Apparently the recovery actions and repopulations carried out in the past years have been successful. The results for these species are seen after many years.
